In June 2023, Nanshan Aluminum Industry broke through the key technology of lightweight wing truss products and successfully passed Airbus certification. As of now, multiple aviation aluminum products from Nanshan Aluminum have been successfully launched into the international market, certified and supplied in bulk by mainstream global aviation companies such as Boeing in the United States, Airbus in France, and Rolls Royce in the United Kingdom. Nanshan Aluminum has gradually become an important manufacturer of cutting-edge aviation aluminum materials in the world.

In order to break the foreign technology monopoly, under the joint support of the provincial major scientific and technological innovation project and the Mount Taishan industry leading talent project, Nanshan Aluminum has successively conquered the key core technologies such as aviation aluminum alloy melt purification, high damage tolerance alloy three-stage aging heat treatment, and successfully developed a high-precision aluminum alloy roller hearth furnace with full independent intellectual property rights, built the first domestic production demonstration line of multi-functional aluminum alloy roller hearth solid solution quenching equipment with independent intellectual property rights, and realized the independent and controllable production of aluminum alloy raw materials for aerospace. Through unremitting efforts, Nanshan Aluminum Industry has successfully developed multiple alloy models of thick and thin plates, including 2 series and 7 series, for commercial aircraft manufacturing, breaking the long-standing situation of China's commercial aircraft aviation aluminum being controlled by others.
